The Story of the Salamanderverse.

“How did you come up with the idea of the Fire Salamander?”

“How was the Salamanderverse born?”

I get these questions a lot from readers, and today, I’m finally ready to answer them.

So, where did it all begin?

You’ve probably seen that meme floating around that says, “You know you’re an author if you have more half-finished novels and story ideas than friends.”

Well… I’m not that author.

I don’t have a drawer (or a computer folder) full of half-finished manuscripts. But what I do have is a complete, unpublished trilogy. Yep. Three fully written books, each close to 200,000 words. And that’s where the Salamanderverse was born.

Plot twist, right?

That trilogy laid the foundation for everything in the Salamanderverse. Like the series you’re reading now, it’s packed with action, has plenty of sword-swinging, rich lore, friendship, loyalty, and a sprinkle of romance. Not too much, and definitely not spicy. Just the kind that makes you smile and root for the characters a little harder.

So, who are the main characters?

Before Zane Burns walked into the FBI office in Ft. Lauderdale, before Damian Blake started his journey from Florida to Arizona, and before Declan Storm stepped out of a prison in Pensacola, there was a young woman…

She is the one who started it all. She is a central figure in the trilogy, but she is not alone. She is surrounded by loyal friends, most of them seemingly ordinary people, untouched by the World of Magic... or so they believe. 😉

By now, you know better… In the Salamanderverse, nothing is ever as it seems.

Each character carries their own secret and walks their own complicated path on the Board of Destiny.

This trilogy also explores the intense and tangled story of the Masters of Power—Mrak Delar and Alliandr.

So, if you've ever wondered:

Was Mrak Delar truly a dark Master of Power, evil to the core?
How did Alliandr become the youngest ruler of Kendral?

Then this trilogy has the answers.

Where is it all set?

Short answer: It’s set right in the heart of the Salamanderverse. It’s full of danger, mystery and ancient secrets. Like many Tales from the Salamanderverse, it crossed boundaries between multiple realms—the human world, Kendral, the Destiny Council realm, and even the Celtic Otherworld (yep, that one 😉).

But it doesn’t stop there.

Our heroes also journey through the Land of Dreams—the magical nexus ruled by the Slavic Pantheon. This dangerous land steeped in Slavic mythology, where all the Slavic fairy tales and legends come to life.

And if that’s not enough, our heroes explore the third magical nexus, which hasn’t been visited in any other Salamanderverse series. You’ve heard its name, but you’ve never stepped there.

And the name of that nexus is The Isle of Legends.

Can you guess where that is, or which legendary figures rule it?

So, there you have it. That’s how the Salamanderverse was born, and where the stories you’re enjoying today first took shape.
