Your Origin Series Questions Answered

Every now and then, I ask readers in our Facebook group what they’d like to know, and I always get some great questions. Sometimes, your questions give me the perfect excuse to share a few hints about what’s coming next. 😊

During our last Q&A, you asked about the Origin series, the mythology behind my books and what adventures are waiting ahead.

So, let’s dive in!

Will There Be More Books After the Origin Series?

Yes, I really hope so!

As a matter of fact, I’m already thinking about the series that will come after the Destiny Keeper Files, also known as the Origin Series. As an author, you always have a few ideas swirling around in your head, and usually at least a couple of characters who refuse to stay quiet and start demanding stories of their own. 😊

I don’t want to say too much just yet, but I do have one particular character in mind who has been patiently (or maybe not so patiently) asking for their own story.

So, while the Origin series still has plenty of story left to tell, my imagination is already wandering beyond it.

In fact, while I was on vacation in Chicago, I decided to combine business with pleasure and did a little research for the next series. Because apparently, even when I’m supposed to be taking a break, my characters have other plans.

I’m not ready to reveal what, or who, I’m researching. But let’s just say that the wheels are already turning.

When Will Book Two Be Released?

My goal is to release it before the end of the year.

As you may have noticed, the books in the Destiny Keeper Files are considerably longer than the stories in my other series. That means they take a little more time to write, revise and edit.

I know waiting can be hard when you’re eager to find out what happens next. 😊 So, I’m working hard to get Book Two finished and into your hands before the end of the year.

Will We See Other Mythologies?

One of my favorite things about writing fantasy is exploring lore and mythology from different cultures.

Slavic lore will always have a special place in my heart, but I also love weaving other traditions into my stories. If you’ve read the Fire Salamander Chronicles, you may have noticed that Celtic lore already plays an important role alongside the Slavic elements.

And I promise there’s more to come.

Will You Be Going to the Isles of Legends in This Series?

Yes! In fact, the third book of the Destiny Keeper Files will take you on a journey to the Isle of Legends.

That’s where you’ll see even more Celtic lore woven into the story, and I’m especially excited about exploring that part of the Salamanderverse with you.
