From Author’s Desk: June News and Updates

It’s been a while since my last Author’s update. Between the release of The Shadow Supremacy, work, research, and writing, I had no time for anything else. So, without further ado, here is the June Urban Fantasy Author’s Update.

What am I currently working on?

The Shadow Enforcer, Urban Fantasy Series

Currently, I am working on the seventh book of the Shadow Enforcer series. At about 82K words into it, I am not close to the finish line just yet. As a matter of fact, I am about to dive into the most complicated and exciting part of the story. Damian and Cole are ready to face their new adversary, the stakes are as high as they get, and for them, there is no way back.

In case you want to know where this story is going to take the immortal brothers, here are a few random facts to satisfy (or peak) your curiosity:

FACT 1: Damian is going to face a deadly mystery, but he’s not looking forward to getting involved in this particular investigation. Nevertheless, as a Destiny Enforcer on duty, he has no choice. Besides, this time he receives the pressure not only from his superiors but also from people who really have no business pressuring him.

FACT 2: Cole is going to meet his old friend of many years. While he loves that, he wishes the circumstances were better. Those of you who have read the Fire Salamander Chronicles will find Cole’s friend familiar and hopefully enjoy meeting him again.

FACT 3: As all books of the Salamanderverse, this story starts with… Wait… I still haven’t decided where the prologue of book seven is going to take place. I can start this story with a real historical event or with one of the old Slavic legends. What do you think? Which direction should I take?

Ask The Author

Question: Are you on social media and can your readers interact with you?

Answer: I am on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest only. On Facebook, I have a page and a Readers group. However, I am not on Twitter or other social media platforms. To manage a social media platform properly takes a lot of work and time, so I prefer to be just on these three, but give them the attention they need. I love when my readers interact with me on social media or via email/website messages. Communicating with my readers is always the best part of my day. I answer all comments, questions and messages myself as soon as I receive them.

Away from the Author’s Desk.

Meet me at Orlando Reads Books Convention! On August 25th to 27th, I’ll be at the “Orlando Reads Books” conference as one of the featured authors. There are many great activities planned for authors and readers, including a reader-author dinner, book signings and workshops for authors. I hope to see you there!

As always, thank you all so much for your continued support.

Happy reading!
