From Author’s Desk: Cover Reveal and other April News and Updates

It’s time for the April Urban Fantasy Author’s update. In this blog, I am going to do the cover and title reveal for the sixth book in The Shadow Enforcer series, as well as answer one of the questions I received from my readers.

What am I currently working on?

The Shadow Supremacy | Urban Fantasy Novel

I am so excited to reveal the cover and the title of the sixth installment in the Shadow Enforcer Urban Fantasy Series. Even though I am still in the process of editing The Shadow Supremacy, I hope to release it and have it in your hands sometime in May. I still haven't decided on the exact release date, so please keep an eye on my Facebook and Instagram posts. I will announce it as soon as I can.

In the meantime, I continue to work on the research for the next novel, and slowly but surely, the plot is starting to take shape.

Ask The Author

Question: What are the key challenges you’re facing when working on your current novel?

Answer: Without a doubt, The Shadow Supremacy is one of the most complex and challenging stories of the Shadow Enforcer series. There is a lot going on. Many old secrets are going to be unveiled, and the brothers (and I hope the readers, too) will face quite a few surprises and revelations. This story is extremely fast-paced and action-driven, even more so than the previous books in the series, and keeping up this neck-breaking pace could be quite challenging sometimes. Besides, the story is emotionally charged, as both Damian and Cole will face their greatest fears, deal with their past and think about their uncertain future.

What am I reading?

I’ll be honest with you. I fell in love with the Hollows series by Kim Harrison, and I can’t stop reading it. I binged through the first three books of the series, and now I am reading the fourth installment, A Fistful of Charms. So far, I loved every single story and would recommend this series to anyone who loves Urban Fantasy.

However, my friend and great fantasy writer, Paul Sating, is about to publish Fireborn, the first book of his new Battleborn trilogy. So, once it goes live on April 29th, I am going to take a short break from The Hollows to read it.

What am I watching?

I just finished watching The Last Kingdom on Netflix. This is by far one of my favorite historical drama series, and the last season didn’t disappoint. This season had more action and more heartbreak than the previous ones, and it kept me at the edge of my seat all the way to the end. If you like historical fiction, I highly recommend this show.

Now, I am switching to another Netflix show about Vikings, “Vikings: Valhalla”. As a fan of the original TV show Vikings, that was released on the History channel, I am looking forward to watching the sequel.

As always, thank you all so much for your continued support.

Happy reading!
